I dont smoke but was simply making a statement based upon similar era Heath. 
What the Shawnee sells for is inmaterial.
IMO the Seneca is a more useful item if someone wants more than a peanut 
whistle signal on 6 and 2M.
It will be mated with a NC-300 and Tapetone converters.

Im amazed that the Shawnee claims 120W of AC is needed to obtain 8W of AM 
output. I remember working them when they were new and they sounded fine 
back when locals were all over 6 and 2M AM
