[Heathkit] Heathkit HD-1410 Electronic Keyer

That comment was on the rude side.  Bad boy!
Here's a bit of practical info on the HD 1410.  It's a good keyer over all. 
It's heavy enough to stay put on the table without nailing it down.  This 
keyer has a  bezerk mode built into it.  Once in a while it will close the 
key contacts all by itself.  A couple of years ago, I tuned up my S line for 
80 CW.  All I had to do is hit the keyer and I would be on the air with 100w 
output.  Just when I finished the tune up, the girlfriend came in the room 
and said she wanted to go to Walmart for stuff so we both jumped into car 
and left.  Got back a couple of hours later and sat down at the rig.  The 
Multimeter on the transmitter was indicating about 40ma of current and the 
transmitter was very hot around the cabinet.  I shut it all down and turned 
it back on a couple of hours later.  Nothing broken or over heated and the 
keyer was working OK.  Somewhere in the Heath manual it says that this model 
will do that from time to time. Weird huh?
