The "dip" factor is probably the most prevalent reason that I am still "toying" with the use of a digital meter instead of an analog meter!

Interesting idea.  Do you think they would be responsive enough?  Nothing like seeing the dip in an analog meter when tuning up.  FWIW, I'm pretty sure these are a 1M input rather than the 10M input of some of the more upscale ones.  Just need to take that into consideration if using it for an RF voltmeter for example.
