You could also implement a "pass" filter ahead of the other spam filters.  The filter would route to your inbox all mail which has a pass code in the subject line. The code could be "Frogzilla" or somesuch.  Then, those who would send email to you with the code would be guaranteed of getting through.  Those who would not use the code would still likely get through, but only after clearing the spam hurdles you now have in place.
