Do what I do here every time I might frustrated with anything, be it radio-related, or otherwise: JUST WALK AWAY FROM IT FOR A DAY, OR TWO!

You'd be surprised at how things can look differently after a "...grace period". 

I've even found that to be VERY applicable in cross-word puzzles: I do the cross-word religiously here every week day morning---more often than not, I'll get stuck on 5-6 words that I just can NOT figure out for the life of me...but then I put the puzzle away, go about my daily chores, & re-visit the thing later in the afternoon. Each & every time, I then complete it correctly in less than 5 minutes! Honest!

Radio troubleshooting is no different. Go do something else, don't think about, & then re-visit it again much, MUCH later. You'll be amazed at what a difference a day makes in your attitude as well as your "curative abilities"...!
