[Heathkit] DX-100 fuse = ?

If you haven't already done so, please remove the old suicide plug with the 2-fuses and replace with a 3-wire cord with a single fuse in the black lead.

As far as I can find, the original DX-100 manual doesn't list the fuse although I may just be overlooking the notation.  Instead, again, as far as I can find,  it just lists the fuse plug.  Since I don't have a DX-100B, I don't know about the manual for that transmitter.

The truth be known, since it has been over 50-years since I owned my original DX-100, I am not absolutely sure, but, I don't remember the fuses being slow-blow.  I do know that the fuse in my present DX-100 is a "normal", fast blow, fuse and I haven't had any problems.

Is the DX-100 fuse supposed to be a slow-blow?

The manual just says 8 amp 3AG but when I looked up "3AG" on Google,
the info returned was that the 3AG is a fast-blow.  That's not what I
remember from "back in the day".

The one I pulled out (after blowing it during my oh-so-skilled
attempts at repair) is a 7 amp slow-blow.
