Well now,
Actually, I think you read more into my statement than is there "Sir"!
My "systems" ARE indeed sharing the same antenna, as in transmit/receive
switched.
The transmitters can be switched to a dummy load, which allows me to tune up
without putting a signal on the air! Convention is what the owner/user says
it is.
Lots of folks have "conventional" setups I prefer "NOT" to Jam a station
that is
transmitting! "YMMV" I believe that is one of the uses for "Dummy Loads"
Everyone has the license and freedom to "design" how their station will
function,
most don't take the time to do that. "EOS"
