I had a 95 Caprice ex Maine State Police sedan with the 9C1 package which
meant everything was special HD. The 4L60E transmission had an external
cooler plus the one in the 2 fan cooled radiator.
I drove it hard, street raced from a light, and even towed a race car, never
had a tranny problem or anything else.
