Bill:
I have an HW-100 and after about a 30 minute warmup, the drift is minimal.
You may have to replace or experiment with the temperature compensating
capacitors in the VFO. It may also be that Q942, which acts like a
zener diode to regulate the FET voltage, has failed.
Does yours eventually stabilize or does it drift "forever"?

Only problem is VFO drifts a bit so guess I need to go into it. Anyone cured this? Restoration can be seen at: http://www.radioremembered.org/HW-101.html
