Hi, Bill!
When you cure the drift on your HW101, I'll send you my VFO's from the 
SB401/303 pair and the SB-104A I have, hi hi.  That's just part of the charm 
of these old rigs, I'm afraid, is the drift.  A good cleaning and re-lubing 
MIGHT help, but it's a LOT of work, and I haven't found the energy yet.  On 
the SB-104A, the VFO "jumps" around a bit, so I bought a "spare" and will 
rebuild it and put the spare in to fix that.  I'll let you know how much of 
a pain that is!!  Welcome to the Heathkit list.  It will be noisier when it 
gets colder.  Where are you in "5" land??  I am near Duncan, OK.
