Thanks everyone for your excellent suggestions on this question. I went to
the hardware store and found some 7/16" grommets that fit the hole
perfectly, and the ID is also just right for a typically computer power cord
with the HP connector chopped off. With a cable tie on the inside, the cord
is quite secure and looks VERY nice now!

Subject: SB-610 power cord replacement
I have a couple of SB-610 scopes with the original power cords and I think
it's time to replace them. Anyone have a suggestion on what to replace it
with and how? Obviously I'll use a 3-wire cord, but I'm not sure what the
best option for bringing into the chassis and anchoring it might be. The
simple solution would be just a grommet in the original plastic strain
relief clamp hole and leave the power cord with no mechanical attachment
other than the friction fit of the grommet, but I kind of think that might
not be a good idea. Any help please?
