I have my SB 200 meter reading and have Plate voltage reading of approximately 2,000 VDC on 110 AC in my motor coach.
To get it perking, I had to replace the plate blocking capacitor and two resistors in the power supply. I replaced the 1 ohm 3 watt and 3.6 K 1/4 watt resistors.
I do not have my manual with me and need to know what the idling current should be with no drive and it keyed by the remote keying line. This information might give me a hint regarding the condition of the two 572B tubes. If you have an amp with known good tubes and approximately 2,000 VDC on the plates of the tubes, please tell me the idling current you experience with NO DRIVE.
My tubes are original Cetron 572B brand with many years of service.
Thank you for your assistance. 73, John, K5PGW
