[Heathkit] Dumb speaker question

Hi Wayne,

You only need one end of the resistor isolated. At worst you will only
have to disconnect one end. You can choose the safest, most convenient
end. More than a few will already be isolated if you look at your
schematic. Any resistor that connects to a tube element without another
resistor or inductor also connected there is isolated, especially if you
remove the tube from the socket. Even if there is another resistor or
inductor you might find the part you want to check is isolated anyway
depending where the other end of the second part connects. If a cap is
connected there it should still be isolated. If you check a resistor
that also has a cap connected and it come out wrong... you will have to
determine if it is the cap or the resistor... but you would have to do
that anyway! I hope this saves you some effort.

A burned resistor (or any burned part) is a clue, too.
