Digging around the shack. I have a visibly intact SB spiral dial with 
the hairline crack all the way through 65 and partway through 15.

Rumor is it that these can be "fixed" by the application of the proper 
thin solvent/glue in the right way. You don't want to get anything in 
the spiral grooves.

Looking at it closely, someone tried to strengthen it by putting a dab 
of glue on the outer rim.

Perhaps Glen or some SB expert can provide guidance.

Send your address and I'll get it in the mail to you.   Hardest part is 
figuring out how to pack this without breaking it.
