[Heathkit] Heath QF-1

Bob:

The power cable shield goes to ground or pin 1 of the octal plug.
Either filament wire, white or black also goes to pin 1.
The other filament wire, white or black goes to pin 8
The red wire is 150-250 V dc B+, which goes to pin 3 of the octal plug.

Caution: The QF-1 can be wired either for 12.6V or 6.3V filaments. Check 
the wiring of the 12AX7 socket to see if the filaments are wired in 
series or parallel.

The coax cable connects to the receiver mixer plate through a dc 
blocking capacitor.

You will need to repeak the 455 kHz receiver IF and do the Q multiplier 
alignment procedure.  What receiver are you using it with?
