[Heathkit] SB-101 vs 102

After watching prices on ebay for SB-101 and SB-102 transceivers it appears
to me that the SB-101 sells higher than the SB-102.
Is that a correct observation or just my limited experience?
Why would a newer, cleaner SB-102 be worth less than the older SB-101?
Models are supposed to improve after time.
I have an SB-102, a very nice, exceptionally clean, low hour model (ssb and
cw filters) bought out of curiousity.
It appears to perform exactly as specified, or better. The horror stories
I've read about the newer lmo seem to me to be unfounded (in my example
anyway).
Is there some other difference I am missing?
I'd seriously consider selling the SB-102---too many radios---not enough
hours, but it appears that using ebay prices of late it would be more like
giving it away. It is a little (actually a lot) too good for that.
I would sincerely welcome opinions of the list members
