I second that - I built mine in 1962 while in the Air Force and it followed
me to Athens Greece for 2 years and it followed me home and I used it until
1980 when I purchased my TS830. Excellent rig, no problems. If I did not
have so much stuff I would buy it and have it shipped.

Someone should jump on that Marauder up for sale. They are excellent
boatanchor transmitters and I have had mine for around 10 years now. Some
interesting points about it are: all the controls are on the front panel.
vfo filaments are always on so there is very little drift. Built to handle
rtty operation without stressing out. You can talk yourself onto frequency
instead of zero beating the other ssb station. My opinion is that the HX 10
is way better than the Hallicrafters HT 32.
Heathkit never published modifications for the rig. The got it right the
first time.
Since it's coming out of Arizona it's most likely has very little or no
corrosion.
