[Heathkit] Bead Blasting

There is a commercial alternative to bead or sand blasting that is less
destructive
Shop I use has a hot sand bed which has heated sand constantly circulated
around and through the part to clean it
The stuff given off is burned before being expelled to the environment
After a soak in the hot sand the parts come out clean, they are blown off in
air and, depending what finish they are to receive may be washed down with a
rust inhibitor.
It gets about 800 F in there so little aluminum cases aren't left in very
long.
Just something to consider or know it exists
