As a restorer of old Harley's of 30+ years I have a ton of experience with
removing paint and re coating. Yea I know a HD isn't a radio but paint's
paint. 
Glen is correct about the cost. If you are not going to do this type work as
a paying hobby,as the Don would say,"Forget about it". 
Go to Ace Hardware and pick up a couple quarts of Strypeze Gel paint remover
a couple cheap paint brushes and some rubber gloves and remove the paint
chemically.. Caution: paint stripper is also skin stripper! 
After stripping paint wash it at least twice and make sure all the remover
is gone or needless to say, it will mess up your new paint.
