I have a couple of HM 102 wattmeters that have problems. I have six that do not. I have numerous amateur transmitters, thus the need for a wattmeter at each station so I don't have to be moving the wattmeters from station to station.

I have one HM 102 wattmeter that is entirely to sensitive to a signal. The meter pegs and the sensitivity pot has no effect at all. The meter also pegs on both the 200 and 2000 power scales.

I have another that has a brown-black-red resistor soldered across the calibration switch and I see no resistor across the switch on the foil side. The resistor is soldered from the center of the switch to the terminal for normal position.

If you are particularly familiar with the HM 102 circuit, please email me directly if you can assist. My partial manual does not have the wiring and building instructions so I do not know the purpose of the unusual resistor across the calibration switch. Have you heard of such a modification? Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW
