Well, Duane I cant help with your woman problem unless you want to adopt
mine. Been married to her since 67 and could use the extra space for
more radios.
The only spare amp I have is a MLA-2500 and thats not something Id loan
out as the tuning is touchy, no grid protection and tubes are
approaching $1000 for a NIB pair. I use it sparingly on the 2nd station
when chasing a DXpedition on 2 bands at a time.
Im surprised no one in MI will help you, there is nothing hard about any
3-500 amp especially if it happens to be a SB-220 or LK-500. If you want
to get it out this way I'll be glad to tackle it at no cost unless a
major component is needed. In that case the labor is free.
