As far as my copyrights go, the vast majority of them I allow others to reproduce them so long as there is no money involved for the reproductions. That is if someone wants to make a copy for their own use or like a club wants to reproduce an article in a newsletter. When reproducing the article for something like a newsletter I do require several things:
The first is that no editing is done. That is the text has to remain unchanged. Next I insist the the copyright notice be included and I be listed as the author. Finally, I request a copy of the actual document. To me those are reasonable requests.
Now if someone is going to charge for the publication then that is a completely different matter. Under those conditions I do require payment for use of the article. I get several requests a year from someone who wants to use one of my articles in a publication that they are going to charge for and the person who makes the request is often "put out" because I demand payment if they are going to charge for the publication. They just don't seem to understand that they cannot "make a buck" from someone's efforts without paying for those efforts. So far, when I state that I must be paid for use of the article if the publication is to be sold the person making the request seems to "forget about it"!

I think that someone like Glen K9STH is a different situation. Glen stated that he has over 1,000 copyrights. He created them and has maintained their legacy and can choose to do as he pleases. That is his legal and moral right.
