I believe a 813 in GG has half the input impedance of a 572B. Therefore
component changes may be required to get a good match.
Driving a pair of 813's directly thru a cap and no tuning network was also a
common procedure since a pair is fairly close to 50 Ohms. That was fine in
the days of tube drivers with pi networks.
