Hi John,
     I agree, can't beat 'em.  Ron's probably thinking that if he can 
scare one up here, he won't pay so much to ship the thing, although I 
don't know the price of the IC.  If I was going to buy one, I'd buy a 
spare.  Then, while I'm ordering parts, I'd get new electrolytics for 
the counter as well and then the shipping becomes worthwhile.  Just my 
way of doing business.
