Paul and Larry,

The Amateur Radio community will continue to operate the way it has and
does.

There are MANY of us that will simply contact a ham off-list when a
request for parts or documentation comes out on the list, AND simply
send them what they need IF it is available.

This is what I've been doing for years. I *MAY* ask for postage if that
is relatively excessive. The last dozen or so times I haven't asked for
anything, simply enclosing a note that said, "please doe the same for
another.".

*IF* one individual can't accept this, I have empathy for their
mis-guided notions. However, if THEY asked for something I have that I
will not use or need, I would STILL send them the item(s) they needed,
and with the same note inside.

Yes, times are hard. Finding "some" parts is even harder. It is why
the last thing out of here was a pair of 813 ceramic sockets. They
weren't NIB, they were used but cleaned up. I used my *SAME*
philosophy. PLEASE PAY IT FORWARD.
