I have noticed several people selling HW-100/101 and SB parts on eBay.

I picked up a couple parts for my SB-301 and SB-401.

I asked the guy what he did with the parts he could not sell. He told me he sells the aluminum for scrap and just dumps the rest.

The main things he sells are the knobs, meters, crystals, some variable caps, tubes and such. The switches and controls don't sell.

I'm buying a HW-101 CARCAS from him for a HB project. It's cheaper than trying to buy a new electronic enclosure. I'm getting everything except the items he can sell.

It's not cost effective to try and restore these items for resale so he makes more by parting them out.
