[Heathkit] Info needed on putting an external VFO on a DX-100

Hi everyone,

I have a DX-100 that I have just completed restoring (for the most 
part). I was almost done with it about a month ago when a small shack 
fire set me back.

Anyway... I have a TMC VOX external frequency standard that I would like 
to use in place of the internal VFO. Someone told me that I can just 
connect it to one of the crystal sockets. I have done that in the past 
on my Viking II.

I would like to wire in a connector on the back skirt.

Any thoughs?
