[Heathkit] Installation of SB 640

Hello to all:

I have recently purchase an external (tube type) LMO, the SB 640 to pair 
it to a SB 102.  The furnished manual only mentions the SB 101 to be 
modified for hook up, no mention on the SB 102.
Is there a manual procedure for connecting the SB 640 to the SB 102 in 
particular? or can I safely assume that the hook up procedure to the SB 
102 is similar to the SB 101?
Is there a SB 640 with a solid state LMO? Is there a problem to hook up 
a tube type LMO with a solid state LMO, like the one on the SB 102's?
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
