[Heathkit] Crinkle paint

Hi all, 
I just detailed my HOG (Harley) and used PJ1 coatings fast black winkle on the jugs, and brake calipers.   The shop said to set the spray can in hot water and heat it up before applying the finish for best results.  I found the hotter I let it get in the tap water the better it winkled and even on cold metal (60 degree)in my garage.
