Ive been using Chinese 3-500's, and 572B's for that matte,r for over 10 
years in my 6M amp conversions. Very early on there were some problems as 
the Chinese got up to speed with their purchased USA tooling.

There were also some "consumer grade" factories that made junk but they have 
pretty much gone away. The factories that cater to the military are as good 
as Eimac ever was. And anyone that went thru the Eimac 3-500Z fiasco in the 
80's knows even they were far from perfect.
