There is plenty of room on the underside of the
chassis to mount replacement electrolytics in the
DX-100. Just disconnect the originals and leave them
in place if you want to "preserve" the original
"looks".
In addition to the 100 mfd capacitors that Ian
suggested Mouser also has 120 mfd @ 450 volt
capacitors that cost $3.14 each. These are 20%
capacitors. That part number is
140-LS121M2W-2240
Those capacitors are just about an inch in diameter
and 2 inches long. They have short "tabs" for
connections but those are very easy to solder a wire.
I use these all the time to replace the 125 mfd @ 450
volt capacitors in Heath equipment. Also, they have a
plastic insulating cover over the body of the
capacitor.
The original electrolytic capacitors often had a
tolerance of -50% / +80% which could mean minimum of
62.5 mfd and a maximum of 225 mfd. The new ones range
from 96 mfd to 144 mfd. MUCH closer!

Try the cheapest of these. Probably closer to 125 mfd
than the original that could be +/- by quite a large
amount.

Close enough for "Government Work" probably or try
some other combos...in parallel.
