[Heathkit] ID-5001 help needed 2 questions

Does anyone have a barametric setup system for their Id-5001 that I could 
borrow, rent, buy they no longer need.  If not could someone that has one 
give me the I.d. of the tubing used to build up the barametic calibration 
unit for same.  second question:  why does the xfmr for the flourescent 
backlite heat up and cause the lite to slowly dim and go out after a short 
period of time.  Has anyone out there addressed this problem?   Thanks much.
