[Heathkit] Sixer mod - whar is it?

I recall that some of those inner tube rafts were filled with Nitrous Oxide,
AKA Laughing Gas. Every few minutes you used the pointed end of a stick to
let some gas out of the tube's valve stem, took a sniff and cruised on down
the river, or floated across the lake, laughing at anything until every
muscle from your big toe to your ear lobes hurt from over use! If the tube
developed a leak and let the Nitrous Oxide bubble out into the water, many a
school of fish threw themselves onto the rocky shores and died laughing!
Turtles threw themselves over the dam spillway and rode the wild surf to
their death splattered all over the huge boulders where the fall of water
ended, kicking their feet and roaring with laughter as they were recycled! A
shell of a way to go!
