[Heathkit] transformer ID Help needed

My SB-610 has the verticle input stage wired for the 1 Kc to 150 kc & RTTY range however there is a transformer installed in the L2 position. There are no markings on the installed transformer but it is shunted with a 56 pf cap which makes me believe that it is the high frequency transformer #40-747. I would like to wire it for a 455 KHz input but I would need the 40-746 transformer. 

Two questions:

1. How can I identify the installed transformer? No markings and the coil appears to be glued inside the can.
2. Does anyone have a 40-746 transformer that they would part with?
