Thanks all, for the pointers. I have to do some work-work for a few
days. I'm a contract/consulting programmer and only have a few hours a
week for radio stuff. Work has gotten very busy.

The SB-303 is open and I have a "rebuilt" LMO in my parts inventory. A
jumper for +10 VDC and a length of coax with RCA connectors will run the
outboard LMO.

With the known good LMO, this SB-303 is hot! There is hum on the audio
but it tunes in SSB and CW just fine. I might just swap the LMO's and
then rebuild the bad one at my leisure.

I'm certain that replacing all the electrolytics is the way to go. As I
have other SB-303's, I might be able buy enough to get a quantity price
break or maybe put the extras on the Bay.
