I've been trying to break out 1 evening a week for ham radio. Mostly
Tuesdays but life here is so chaotic that I frequently do not have the
time. I managed to get a couple hours in last night.
The SB-303 is open on my workbench and sounds terrible. I can see the
LMO jitter on the Tek and the counter indicates stability problems.
There's also an AC hum on the audio. That's on the scope too.
I think the electrolytics all should be replaced, every one of them.
It's not worth testing them because the radio is 35+ years old. It's
time. Since I have other SB-303's, where should I get the electrolytics?
I tried searching digikey and found this.

$11.715 each? 500 ufd 50 V axial?????
www.mouser.com has better prices but maybe the problem is how I've
specified the value. 500 ufd's are pricey but 470 ufds are cheap.
The search features on both sites are frankly weird. If I need a 50 V
cap, I don't want to specify 50 V because a higher voltage will work.
Ditto capacitance. If the circuit uses 500 ufd, then 470 is just as
good, especially if it's 1/10 the price.
