There is a way to modify the SB-200 to add 6 meters so that you only 
lose 10 meters, not the rest of the HF bands too.

However, I am with Peter on this: rather than butcher up an SB-200 for 
6 meters, why not simply buy or build a single-band amp?

I would think that such an amp would be more efficient than a modifed 
SB-200.

The SB-200 is one of the finest and least expensive table-top almost-a-
KW amps that are available. They cover the WARC bands too.
