Hi Pete,
I have the best astigmatism improvement with the pot wiper ~95% from the 
ground end.
Looks good enough to button it up.

The best focus occurs at about 12 o'clock on the front control so I think
the resistors are close enough.
I'll try a 1 meg. astigmatism pot. and report back.

 I did have the problem on the HO-10 and added an Astigmatism control to 
correct
it. Break the connection to pin 8 of the 3RP1; connect the center wiper of a
1 Meg pot to pin 8. Connect one side of the pot to ground; connect the
wire you removed from pin 8 to the other end of the pot. Check for
errors; turn on; and proceed to diddle.
