[Heathkit] Two Tone Function and AM Re: SB-610 Scope

I have both the HO-10 and a SB-610. The HO-10 is used with the AM station
and the SB-610 for the SSB station. Other than a few resistors increasing
in value due to age and the needed replacement of the 0.15 mf HV filter
caps, these seem to work flawless.

As to AM transmitter evaluation, a very low distortion osc and one that is
sweepable across the audio spectrum is preferable. At the same time, the RF
TRAP mode pattern is easier for most to analyze AM transmitter performance.

These are real handy pieces of station equipment. I wish more folks had
them, used them and understood the result they present. The bands would be
cleaner and transmitters would sound better although many would complain
that their watt meters didn't kick as high. Sigh!
