[Heathkit] SB-610 Scope Diode Replacements

Been replacing the Selenium Rectifiers in the SB-610 with two 1N4007 Diodes each.
Also ocassionally replace one or more of the 4 diodes in the power supply section with the same.
The 1N4007 is rated at 1000 volts and 1 Amp.
They are durt cheap at Mouser for .03 cents each.
Had a suggestion of replacing the 1N4007 with the SK3081 diodes.
Looks like thery are rated at 1000 volts and 2 Amps.
Are the SK3081s still made and suggestions for using them on the SB-610 selenium rectifier
as well as power supply replacements.
