[Heathkit] Paint gun for boat anchors

I have a Wagner Model 305 110W unit that is used for latex house paint. The 
manual says that a tip for stains and other thin materials with a fine mist 
pattern is available from dealers.
The manual also says a swirl valve (gray base) for lacquer is available.

Try yours on some scrap and let us know how it works.
