[Heathkit] SB-230

The 230 was popular some years ago as an easy conversion to 6M and even 432.
One conversion Ive seen that works well is to use the conduction cooled
4CX250B (forgot the number) in a super cathode drive similar to the THP
HL1K/A. The tube is almost a giveaway and conversion is rather simple.

Ive converted over a dozen to 6M and typical paid price was $250-275 with a
full output 8873 even at Dayton a decade ago. That tube was also used in
some Henry VHF amps as well as some point to point commercial gear. I have
an 8874 that someone sawed off one side of the radiator and soldered on a
brass plate; suprisingly it works nice and cool in the SB-230.

At least the 8873 is easier and cheaper to find than the single use 8875's
in the Dentron MLA-2500.
