The second edition is definitely better than the first
edition (has quite a number of corrections).  However,
there are definitely other additions that need to be
made (like variations in various units that are not
described in even the second edition).  I have been in
contact with WA7ZZE about a number of things (i.e.
there are two different versions of the VF-1 that were
made stateside plus the version made in the United
Kingdom, two different versions of the AK-5 speaker,
and so forth).  He told me that he has been "thinking"
of doing a third edition but hasn't really done much
as of a couple of months ago.
