The unit was used to auto-tune dipole antennas (make them usable over more
of the band).  The unit is describe on the ARRL web site for Heath antenna
tuners...it has an evaluation of the unit).  A very cool unit for sure but
also very rare. Might be easier to just dig up the old Black and Decker
screw driver and find yourself a variable capacitor that you can install in
a piece of 4" PVC.

I'm not familiar with that Heath number or capacitor.  Are you sure of 
the number or component?
