[Heathkit] Type of Paint On Heathkit cabinets

Thanks Glen for your input on the paint. Of the Four SB-610 cabinets
 i'm doing now of which i used the lacquer thinner .. the paint came off
real easy on two of them after about 25 minutes soaking. Noticed the paint -floated up-
off the cabinets like you said. I then used an old tooth brush to flake and brush off
the sheets of paint. They went right down to the bare aluminum and a slight bit
of number 220 sandpaper finished them off.
The texture was sorta - rubbery - and - latex - like.
The paint on these two cabinets had a - bluish- type color into the
normal Heathkit green. 

The other two i soaked in two quarts of the thinner and they never came off.
But i did notice one had a - slight - bluish tint over the other faided green one.
Not as much bluish as the above two. 
So i'm figuring that i probably had 3 of the different types of paints
among my 4 cabinets.
