[Heathkit] Off Topic - Need Help

After 44 years of hamming I decided to give six meters a try. I purchased a  
Ranger RCI-5054 six meter rig. To make a long story short - the Ranger has 
been  back and forth to the factory three times in the last five months for 
repair.  They just don't seem to be able to repair their own radio. Today I 
received it  back again after sending it in for repair and it still exhibits the same 
exact  problem. The radio will transmit and receive on the same frequency on 
am, fm,  and cw. But on SSB it receives almost 3 KHz down. Example: When the 
rig is set  on 50.125 MHz it will transmit on 50.125 but I have to tune down to 
50.123.5 to  receive. Then I have to tune back up to 50.125 to transmit. The 
RIT has no  effect. I'm not about to send it back again. I just don't trust 
these people any  longer. Does anyone know of a good repair station that can 
work on this brand of  radio? I'm really fed up and need some help. Regards &
