[Heathkit] RX-1 Mohawk Receiver Opinions Wanted

The RX-1 was an embarrasment to Heathkit, as far as I'm concerned. It had 
three major deficiencies, which are addressed by the ER mods:

-AGC is terrible
-Insufficient BFO injection, and SSB detector instability
-VFO drift/stability


I bought one, cleaned it up, did most of the mods, and it was still pretty 
poor. I sold it with no regrets. Sure, it looks nice sitting next to the TX-1. 
Just don't turn it on.
