I recently tried the following custom-color formula for Heathkit cabinet
green using Home Depot latex paint - turned out really good on two HW-101s
and a matching speaker grill.

Base paint:
1 Quart
Behr Premium Plus Interior Eggshell Access Base 2600

>From the custom tinting label on the can:

Colorant/OZ/48/96
E - Thalo Blue / 2 / 10 / 1 (2 oz, 10 "48s", 1 "96")
I - Brown Oxide / 0 / 19 / 0
T - Medium Yell / 0 / 28 / 1

I brushed it on using a good-quality brush, easy as could be. The textured
surface of the HW-101 cabinet made it easy to eliminate brush strokes by
tapping the brush bristle ends into the wet paint. I'd describe the resulting
color as the shade of green used on the later-vintage HW-101s I've seen.

The formula originated with a fellow named Michael, N4NMR. I'm not sure if
this would be suitable for the DX-60... early versions probably had smooth
bright green cabinets like the Apaches and Mohawks, but the later units probably
had the textured mossy green like HW-101s and HW-16s
