[Heathkit] question from a non-Ham

    I've been building radios & listening to the MW, SW & Ham bands for 
years. And I understand most of the Ham talk, like QST, QRP, etc.
   I know SK refers to a deceased Ham, but what the heck does "SK"  stand 
for? Or what was it's origins?
Shoulda asked this 30 years ago, but...
