[Heathkit] IF CANs for SB-610 Monitor Scope

Looking to put a 455kc IF CAN into a SB-610 which doesn't have one at all.
Heathkit p/n 40-746 is the correct one but almost impossible to locate.
Miller 12-C2 is a direct substitute .. but again almost impossible to find.
So lets look further for a generic one.
The type which mounts onto a PC Board. type  - really small critter.
Found a couple 455kc IF CANS that are made by "somebody" no telling who - no name brand.
Know how to use my ohm meter & inject a signal into the scope to peak up the slug.
Has anyone had any luck with these small 455kc IF CANs mounted into a SB-610 or other model Heathkits ?
